Dragonfly Consulting recently completed a noise impact assessment on behalf of a primary school in North Lincolnshire to assess the possible installation of a new Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA). The MUGA will be used to ensure the children have a safe, year-round play space in which they can enhance their sporting abilities and have fun with their friends.
Having completed numerous assessments of a similar scope recently, Dragonfly Consulting confidently and competently completed the noise impact assessment using some typical and some left-field assessment methodologies to ensure a comprehensive assessment of the potential impact was considered. The assessment considered not only the longer-term impacts of children playing externally but also the short-term maximum noise events which will occur when the play equipment inevitably strikes the boundary fencing.
The assessment proved to be favourable for the school so we at Dragonfly Consulting would like to wish the children using the facility many happy years of outdoor play.
