LUKE PARKER

I am thrilled to have joined Dragonfly Consulting as an Acoustic Technician in 2023. My passion for sound has been with me since my childhood days, thanks to my dad's ownership of an Audio-Visual company. This early exposure ignited my curiosity and eventually led me to pursue a career in sound engineering.

In 2014 and 2015, I took a year off to travel the world, which I immensely enjoyed. I believe travelling is one of the best ways to broaden your horizons and gain new perspectives, and it's something I always love to do.

Upon returning, I began working as a production manager for renowned nightclub in Leeds where I gained hands-on experience in managing sound systems and ensuring optimal sound quality for events. During my time working in the nightclubs, I also earned a BSc in Audio Engineering from Leeds Beckett University, which helped me deepen my understanding of the principles and techniques involved in sound engineering.

In 2017, while studying and working full-time as a production manager, I founded my own Audio-Visual hire & installation company, which supplies high-quality sound equipment to clients in Leeds and the surrounding areas. I'm proud of the work I've done there, and I'm excited to bring my expertise to Dragonfly Consulting.

In my spare time, I maintain a strict health and fitness regimen seven days a week, as I believe that a healthy mind and body are essential for success in any field. I'm excited to continue my journey through the world of sound with Dragonfly Consulting. I am eager to learn and grow, and I am committed to providing the best possible service to our clients.
